Rosie Huntington-Whiteley last night hosted a dinner to mark the launch of her new sleepwear range for Marks & Spencer, a follow on from her hugely successful lingerie line for the high street brand.

‘I couldn't find affordable, luxurious sleepwear and casual wear for wearing at home and wearing whilst travelling anywhere,’ the model and former ELLE cover star told us. ‘It also felt like the next step from lingerie was to have pieces that you could relax in at home and still fell feminine and luxurious.’

She’s such a fan of the pieces that they’re taking over her wardrobe. ‘I take home one of everything which is starting to be a real problem because there’s a real lack of space in my house,’ she said. ‘I recently had to box up an entire wardrobe of lingerie and put it in the basement and I’ve been instructed very firmly by the person that I share my house with that I’m only allowed to pick the things that I’m actually going to wear, otherwise it’s a waste of space.’

‘I’m a personal fan of the chemise and night slips, I wear them a lot,’ she says of her favourites. ‘The snood is one of my favourites and the poncho because you can actually wear them in public. And I love these cuffed bottom cashmere pants, they were inspired by relaxed L.A. cool vibe. It’s a very specific airport style. It’s a real big moment for me, it’s like the red carpet that trip onto the plane!’

The Rosie for Autograph collection is in stores and online now.
