Topshop isn’t holding back when it comes to its new Kate Moss line: Sir Phillip Green is planning for the collection to ‘pop-up’ all over the world, including countries where it currently doesn’t trade, such as China.

‘The plan is obviously to distribute Kate’s new line through our existing franchisees,’ Green has said of the plan to make Kate’s comeback bigger and better than ever.

‘My thinking is that I want to have some additional pop-ups, and therefore it may be an opportunity which I’m looking at maybe trialing — a pop-up in China. I just need to figure out, does it work?’

He’s also factoring in ‘60 or 70’ additional Kate pop-ups in US department store Nordstrom, as well as talking to Galeries Lafayette in France (which is getting its very first standalone Topshop store next week), WWD reports.

In addition to the pop-ups, the Kate Moss collection will be stocked in existing Topshops in 40 countries.

Talk about pressure. But apparently, it’s not getting to Kate. If media whispers are to be believed (and we really, really hope they are), Ms Moss has balanced her time being back in the design studio with starring in Paul McCartney’s upcoming music video, Queenie Eye – alongside ex-fiance Johnny Depp. Simply super.
