Last night, October 9th, was the opening of the exhibition ArtWars.

Founder Ben Moore created the concept of ArtWars in an alliance with Andrew Ainsworth, who is the mastermind behind the iconic StarWars Stormtrooper. This exhibition features a platoon of Stormtrooper helmets, that have been at the creative disposal of some of the worlds leading artists including Damien Hirst, David Bailey, Jake and Dinos Chapman and Paul Fryer.

The masks will be auctioned off in Feburary 2014 at Christie's, to raise money for the Missing Tom fund which is in aid of Moore's borther Tom, who has been missing for over a decade.

ArtWars is on display at the inaugural STRARTA Art Fair as part of the curated spaces programme (venue Saatchi Gallery) and will be showcasing it from the 9-13th, until the Art Below gallery will take over and move the pieces to a billboard space on an entire platform of Regent's Park Underground Station to coincide with London's Frieze art fair.
