It's official: the Christmas blockbuster teasers have begun.
Despite the passing away of the author Tom Clancy earlier this week, Paramount this morning debuted the highly anticipated trailer for Jack Ryan: Shadow Recruit, starring Chris Pine, Keira Knightly, Kevin Costner and Kenneth Branagh (who also sits in the directors chair).
'You're not just an analyst anymore you're operational now,' runs the voiceover by wise sage Coster as the action kicks in. So what do you need to know? Jack Ryan, played by Pine, is a young covert CIA analyst who uncovers a Russian plot to crash the US economy with a terrorist attack. Keira rocks an American accent. And there are explosions. Lots of them.
