When we heard that leading fashion blogger, style maven and shoe aficionado 5 Inch And Up – aka Sandra Hagelstam – had teamed up with River Island to produce an exclusive a/w 2014 footwear collaboration, we couldn’t wait to get a first look at the finished collection.
Inspired by her well-known love of stilettos, platforms and, well, everything 5 inches and upwards, the six-piece range sums up Sandra’s inimitable style. Launching in stores and online today, the collection stays true to the 5 Inch And Up aesthetic: clean lines in classic shapes, with a muted colour palette and subtle nods to current trends.
'I’ve aimed to design a powerful and seductive collection for strong women who understand the importance of a simplified statement shoe,' said Hagelstam of the collection. 'I’m eager to see how women will be styling the range.’
