The house has appointed Darren Spaziani, former director of accessories design at (yes – he's the man responsible for the PS1) to spearhead the design of new ‘very high-end’ leather goods to ‘complement existing collections,’ WWD reports.

It’s something of a homecoming for the designer, who did a stint at the house between 2004 and 2006.

Delphine Arnault, Vuitton’s executive vice president, refers to Spaziani ‘one of the most talented designers of his generation’.
