Last night, 200 women and, yes, men poured in to the Purcell Room at the South Bank Centre to hear five Hearst editors – ELLE’s Lorraine Candy, Louise Court (Cosmopolitan), Lindsay Nicholson (Good Housekeeping), David Moynihan (Digital Spy) and Sarah Bailey (Red) – plus compere Miranda Sawyer discuss what it means to be empowered, as part of the Hearst Empowering Women initiative.
