At last night's British Fashion Awards, the British Fashion Council paid tribute to the late head of the MA Fashion course at Central Saint Martins, Louise Wilson.
And how better to do it than in her typical forthright style?
While models wearing outfits created by the designers that she had taught and mentored throughout her career took to the stage, a recording of Samuel L. Jackson reading this inspiring (and somewhat sweary) statement, written by Brian Buirge and Jason Bacher - familiar to Wilson's students, as it was pinned on the board in her office as inspiration - was played.
