All-American brand Stuart Weitzman is opening a new flagship store in Milan during the Fashion Week celebrations this evening - and guest of honour Kate Moss will be in attendance to see her new video for the label, Made For Walking, unveiled.

The short - which you can watch first, below - features Kate strutting down London streets in Weitzman boots to a soundtrack of Nancy Sinatra’s These Boots Are Made for Walkin’.

And stand by, because the brand’s wider social initiative goes live tomorrow morning. Expect a YouTube short and an Instagram contest encouraging followers and Kate fans alike to make their own videos using the hashtag #madeforwalking.

Says Stuart Weitzman’s chief marketing officer, Susan Duffy, in an interview with WWD: 'What we really wanted to do was end up owning the word "walk", as we are a brand that combines comfort and style; no matter how high the heel, you can walk in it all day and dance all night.'

While they might not own the word ‘walk’ just yet, what the team is doing is certainly working. Since engaging in social campaigns, e-commerce sales on stuartweitzman.com have nearly quadrupled in the past 18 months, whilst mobile transactions now count for 35% of their online business - up a mammoth 380% since the start of 2012. Combine that with the power of Kate, and no doubt they'll have the world walking to their beat in no time.
