Damn, were good. Turns out, our fashion Spidey senses were correct Christian Lacroix designed our dream Breton top as part of his collaboration with the Opéra national de Paris and Petit Bateau.
And here it is.
The striped cotton jersey top with a velvet bow comes in milk and submarine navy or multicoloured colourways, and will cost from 85 (approximately £72) when the collection goes on sale on 6 December.
Its part of a five-piece capsule collection that comprises a striped dress, skirt and top for women and an equally adorable mini-Breton top and dress for girls, inspired by in the words of Monsieur Lacroix himself a combination of little boats, the sea and fresh air, the Palais Garnier opera house, the ballet and operatic arias.
