Ever since Lady Gaga rocked that meat dress with such aplomb, our own wardrobes have felt, well, a bit anaemic. But no more, as now we could be the proud owners of this cutting-edge bacon scarf.

'The French word for a silk scarf is foulard. The word is composed by fou (insane) and lard (bacon)', claims the website. Now, we're not sure that this is strictly true… but we really like bacon, so we'll overlook it.

This meaty incarnation, designed by Swiss artist Natalie Luder, is 100% silk, and yours for just shy of £120. And, dare we say it, it's surprisingly chic. Bacon – the new black?
