is designing a line for US behemoth Target - and, in a move of e-tail genius, Net-a-Porter is stepping up to stock it so we won't have to cross the Atlantic to get our hands on it.

News of the collaboration was beamed onto the catwalk at this afternoon's spring/summer 2014 show, which saw design duo Peter Pilotto and Christopher de Vos present a typically elegant collection in a palette of cool mint and volcanic reds.

Here's hoping there's plenty of that in the Target line, which promises 'most' pieces priced at $60 (no, that's not a typo), or less.

Said Pilotto of the collaboration: 'By working with Target, we're able to broaden our reach and bring our design aesthetic to an entirely new audience.'

'This is a pivotal moment for our brand. Our collection for Target embodies the elegance and spirit of our own line, but makes it accessible to everyone,' added Christopher De Vos.

The collection will launch on 9 February 2014 - catapulting one of London's most beautiful brands to the big league Stateside. The big question is, how are we going to wait that long to be able to wear it?
