The just-announced ‘Modern Essentials selected by David Beckham’ collection is a curated edit of H&M’s wardrobe classics – think well-cut suits, chalk-washed denim and sharp linen blazers - which have the official DB seal of approval.

Speaking of the collection, Beckham says that his edit ‘will update every man’s spring wardrobe with great style’.

The move further cements the releationship between the high street retailer and former footballing style icon, who has long produced - and modelled - a collection of under- and lounge-wear for the brand.

The collection goes on-sale online and nationwide, alongside the latest edition of the David Beckham for H&M Bodywear collection, on 5 March.
