Ximon Lee has won this year's H&M Design Award – becoming the first ever menswear designer to do so.

A 24-year-old graduate from Parsons in New York, Ximon presented his winning collection during Fashion Week Stockholm.

In addition to the title, the up-and-coming designer scoops €50,000 and a chance to develop pieces from his collection that will be sold in select H&M stores and online later this year.

The judging panel this year was a stellar line up including Luella Bartley of Marc by Marc Jacobs, Lily Allen and fashion journalist Tommy Ton - a tough crowd to win over - but Ximon's innovative collection wowed them all.

Said Luella: 'I think Ximon is an incredibly accomplished designer. He had everything; his research was beautiful, the fabric development was really accomplished and his design was good.'

Get in line early; this collection is bound to sell out fast.
