J.W. Anderson: going big-time

Set to follow in Kane’s footsteps?

Is J.W. Anderson about to join fellow fledgling labels Christopher Kane and Altuzarra in celebrating a big investment?

The answer is yes, if the rumours doing the fashion week rounds are to be believed.

LVMH Moët Hennessy Louis Vuitton boss Bernard Arnault is said to be in discussion with the young London-based designer.

A spokesperson for J.W. – full name, Jonathan William – however has said that they are ‘not aware’ of talks, in a report published by WWD today.

We say: watch this space. Anderson has been hot property since launching his own-name label in 2008, and already has collaborations with fashion-world heavyweights Versus Versace and Topshop under his well-appointed belt – not to mention the entire ELLE office obsessed with his luxurious-yet-irreverent designs.

J.W. Anderson will show his spring/summer 2014 collection at 4pm on Saturday, 14 September – stay tuned to ELLE for all the essential #LFW coverage, straight from the catwalks.
