has announced the appointment of not one but two new Creative Directors today; Alexis Martial and Adrien Caillaudaud.

The French fashion house has been without a designer at the helm since September last year when Guillaume Henry stood down to take on the role of Creative Director at . Now it has tapped friends Martial and Caillaudaud. Their credentials? Caillaudaud had a stint at before working alongside Riccardo Tisci at , designing the shoes and accessories lines, while Martial began his career at Givenchy and Paco Rabanne and has been Creative Director of Iceberg for the past ttwo years.  'We are thrilled to be joining this highly creative Parisian design house.' say the duo. 'Carven is a brand that conveys a beautiful sense of femininity and freshness that we look forward to continuing into the next era. We are excited to be working with Henri Sebaoun and the incredibly creative and talented teams at Carven.'

The label's a/w 2015 collection is something of a soft launch for the pair. Caillaudaud, already installed in the studio, has designed most of the pieces while Martial, fresh from his final show for Iceberg last week, will join today and help edit and tweak ahead of the show on Thursday.
