is emerging from the Tanks at the Tate Modern into a fresh new ‘Showspace’ located in London’s Regent Park for .

The space, which was designed by Swedish architect Pernilla Ohrstedt, works on the concept of bringing the outside inside, and will feature real grass (grown through felt to form a solid catwalk), as well as ‘giant non-woven geo-textiles, a stacked “through and through” sawn Douglas fir trunk and a secret garden, which will become the botanical backdrop to this season's presentations’.

‘My design for Topshop Showspace s/s 2014 is inspired by minimal ways of creating paths through nature and parks, be it trampled desire lines in Regents Park or the simplicity of constructions that take you across boggy marshes in northern Sweden,’ says Ohrstedt.

All of the designers awarded BFC/NEWGEN funding for the season will show there (among them, ELLE/Cointreau Bursary winner Simone Rocha) once it’s been baptised by Topshop’s own catwalk line, Unique, at 3pm on Sunday, 15 September.
