British fashion house has announced the appointment of Ulrik Garde Due as its new chief executive officer.

He steps into the shoes of long-standing Temperley co-founder and CEO – not to mention husband to the eponymous Alice – Lars Von Bennigsen.

With a strong track record that spans over 20 years, Garde Due has previously worked for and, most recently, Georg Jensen, and was a fundamental part of revitalisation of .

‘We are delighted to be entering this new era of Temperley with such a well respected executive and this is a very exiting part of our development,’ Alice said in a statement today. ‘We are thrilled to welcome Ulrik, who has outstanding credentials with the ability and skills to lead out company through the next stages of expansion.’

The arrival of Garde Due comes as an exciting time for the brand, which is about to enter into its fourteenth year of business and is due to show at London Fashion Week on 15 September.
