Cara Delevingne Records A Song

From the runway to the recording studio

Cara Delevingne’s love of the drums has been well documented, but her impressive vocal chords are something of a surprise. The model, who recently turned 21, showed off her singing talents in a duet with singer/songwriter Will Heard. The pair, who have been friends for years, recorded an acoustic version of Sonnentanz (The Sun Don’t Shine) in a London studio last Friday. A dance version of the catchy tune, which Heard originally recorded with Klangkarussell, is currently No.3 in the UK iTunes charts.

Delevingne’s musical aspirations first became apparent when she leapt on-stage with her pal Rita Ora at a recent DKNY party. A model of many talents, Cara also debut her acting skills in the film adaptation of Anna Karenina and has always been open about her career ambitions outside of the modeling world, recently telling W Magazine 'I want to make music, I want to act, I want to sing.’

What’s next for the multi-talented model? TV show? Fashion design? We’re expecting big things.
