Not only has Sandra Bullock lent her voice to the latest Minions film by way of super-villain Scarlett Overkill, she has also lent her feet to a very worthy cause. Stepping out at the LA premiere of the Despicable Me spinoff, Bullock wore a simple Roskanda dress and a pair of Minion-inspired Rupert Sanderson heels.

The fancy footwear went down such a storm that ten pairs were made and auctioned off for charity Art + Practice, an organisation which encourages education and culture for foster children in LA, subsequently raising $42,425.

And, since Sandra Bullock is a mega babe, she matched the amount that had been raised to make a grand total of $84,850.

The actress told People: 'When you discover people who are truly giving back, and taking care of our community, I think it's our duty to support and take care of them in return.'

Minions fever has taken over the fashion world, with everyone from Havaianas to Giles Deacon riffing on the little creatures in their designs, and we don't see the yellow train slowing down any time soon.
