The British Fashion Council has just released the official line-up for September's spring/summer 2016 shows and there's a new name on the roster that we're particularly excited about.
MM6 Maison Margiela, the diffusion label of Maison Margiela that is overseen by London-born John Galliano, will stage a presentation on the afternoon of Sunday September 20. No further details about the venue or format of the event are available yet but we're hoping for more of the drama and attention to detail that have so far suffused his main-line collections for the house.
The MM6 skipped the autumn/winter 2015 season after Galliano took the creative helm in October 2014 and the latest MM6 presentation — for resort 2016 — took place in New York.
Other exciting additions to the schedule include a presentation by legendary London designer Zandra Rhodes, a show by Versus Versace and outings from Alexander Lewis (who makes seriously gorgeous dresses), Hill & Friends and Peter Jensen.
