Sia and Dance Moms star Maddie Ziegler's powerful music video trilogy, featuring 'Chandelier,' 'Elastic Heart,' and 'Big Girls Cry,' may have ended in April, but their partnership hasn't. Sia announced Ziegler will star in a film she has written and will direct at a Venice Film Festival Q&A, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

'I was too embarrassed to tell anyone I wanted to make a movie because I thought it would be seen as a vanity project because I was a singer," she said. 'And then last year, after I made the 'Chandelier' video, I realized that I was pretty good at directing, so I felt a little bit braver.'

Friend and author Dallas Clayton helped her write the screenplay for the movie, entitled Sister, that's based off a one-page short story Sia wrote eight years ago. The script was then reviewed by five friends, including Whitney Cummings, Joel Edgerton and Sia's husband Erik Anders Lang, who 'gave the best notes, actually.'

No word yet on its release or production schedule, but given Sia's past work, we're excited.
