To celebrate 50 years of British shoe design, Kurt Geiger has partnered with Cordwainers at London College of Fashion.
Cordwainers at LCF is one of the world’s leading institutions for footwear and accessories education, boasting an impressive roll call of alumni including Jimmy Choo, Rupert Sanderson and Nicholas Kirkwood.
Kurt Geiger – whose current campaign is fronted by British model of the moment, Sam Rollinson – has pledged an initial £300,000 donation to the school, which will be distributed over three years and fund scholarships and mentoring programs.
The investment in the footwear and accessories designers of tomorrow is a great way for the brand to celebrate its golden anniversary and align themselves with the industry's future stars.
Make no mistake, Kurt Geiger intends to dominate the highstreet footwear market for years to come.
The best way for us to celebrate right now? With the brand's special anniversary shoe – it’s a £500 gold crocodile stiletto presented in a golden box. Find it in stores this October.
