New Year, new campaigns. Top model, cookie guru and Instagram favourite Karlie Kloss is the new face of Topshop's spring/summer '16 campaign. Photographed by Tyrone Lebon and styled by Topshop’s creative director Kate Phelan, it features her in 90’s inspired party dresses, tailored suits, and slouchy sweatshirts shot against an edgy downtown backdrop. The campaign comes eight years after Karlie’s first Topshop appearance.
But despite the gap Kate Phelan believes Karlie is still ‘the ultimate Topshop girl’, adding that her accomplishments as a ‘world-renowned fashion figure, businesswoman, entrepreneur and philanthropist’ make her the perfect modern icon and role model for Topshop’s global audience. The supermodel recently celebrated her 2015 accomplishments through a series of social media posts, stating ‘If 2016 is anywhere near as good as 2015, it's going to be an incredible year’. With the campaign featuring in-store and online worldwide, Kloss is certainly off to a great start.
