If you’ve ever wondered how initial designer sketches compare to the finished clothes in the shops, now you can see for yourself.

French Connection’s latest campaign features naked models with sketched-on clothes from the a/w 2013 collection. (And when we say naked, we mean there are nipples on show!)

You probably won't be surprised to hear that the #sketchtostore shoot was done by ELLE favourite, Rankin, who has photographed the likes of Jessie J, Scarlett Johansson, Lindsay Lohan and Emma Watson for our (equally comment-provoking) covers. He worked with The Full Service, his in-house creative content agency, to come up with the concept.

The campaign was unveiled in London last night, in front of an audience that included Mr Hudson, Tuuli Shipster and Arlissa.

‘The Full Service was incredibly excited when French Connection approached us to release their a/w 2013 campaign,' says the man himself. 'I’ve always admired the brand for their fearless approach.’

Using naked models is definitely fearless in our book. But don’t worry – the collection does feature clothes, so you won’t have to bare all to wear it.
