Alberta Ferretti has explored the question by resurrecting one of history’s most iconic heroines, Marchesa Luisa Casati, played by model-actress Malgosia Bela, to wear the autumn/winter ’16 limited collection in a new video. It also marks a progression for the brand, as an increasing number of houses explore new ways to present their collections beyond the catwalk. ‘Today, more than ever, fashion must send messages that are fast, clear, and rapidly accessible to a wider audience, and through the internet, and social networks fashion participates in this global movement that defines taste these days,’ Ferretti says.
