This season Kanye West is very much bringing his Yeezy Season 3 show to his people.  By ‘his people’, we are not just talking the likes of his celebrity friends, Jaden Smith, Kim K and Khloe, but the general public. 

Breaking with the fashion week norm of presenting to press and buyers only, tickets to West’s show in New York’s Madison Square Garden on 11th February at 4 pm (9 p.m GMT) will go on sale on with Ticketmaster on Jan 29 (Jan 28 direct from the venue & Jan 27 for American Express customers). 

Oh, and for extra entertainment, he has also decided to let the show be his first airing of his latest album WAVES (formerly Swish).

So could this be a sign of things to come?  The answer, is probably yes. We’re already used to brands live streaming shows and sharing so much of the build up and content of the shows online , that it seems only natural that the experience evolves and becomes even more immersive – and what could be more immersive than us getting to jump into the real thing.

Is Kanye taking inspiration from his good friend RT at Givenchy and following in his footsteps? It looks to that way but in true Kanye style if course there is a stonking price tag to go along with it. The buzz of the Yeezy continues…
