Feast your eyes on next season's street style hits

1) Welcome to Jonathan’s world

Jonathan Anderson, part designer, curator and master marketer, is a man who has proven himself at being able to create an immersive experience. In a way, he’s to fashion design what Wes Anderson or Sofia Coppola is to film. He creates a highly stylized brand of quirk. His autumn/winter show was no different with a runway that was split across a number of mini, white-walled rooms.

I mean, these shoes okay? A few things to note: the pointy toe (trending for autumn/winter) and the silver, rolling pin heels (not trending, but should be – it looks so good.)

3) The long and short of it

From multilayered frills to stiff, out-there draping, Anderson played with length, proportion and structure in a clever, intriguing way. It was all a little futuristic and space cadet-y (like what someone in the 60s or 70s would imagine people in 2016 wearing) thanks to his use of shiny satins, neoprene, silver hardware and flying saucer-shaped capes and skirts. Again, a highly immersive world — one that looks like it would be fun to live in.
