When Rihanna unveiled her debut collection for high-street retailer River Island on the cover of ELLE ahead of London Fashion Week in February last year, we were more than impressed. So when the popstar-turned-designer finally revealed a sneak peek video of her second collection earlier on today (after teasing us with an Instagram picture a few months ago), it was all tears of joy.

The sassy behind-the-scenes film sees Rihanna guiding us through her sketches and favourite looks with an occasional approval of 'yeah!' while discussing everything from stitches to structure to fitting models.

ELLE’s fashion director Anne-Marie Curtis described RiRi’s first collection as 'an ode to all things high fashion', and it seems like this new collection is nothing but onwards and upwards – with plenty of camouflage print, New York-styled bomber jackets with delicate fur trimming and comfy grey tees in the mix.

This collection is also a seasonal step forward, with more to layer and wear out in the rain. We predict the camouflage maxi dress will be this season's denim dungaree.

Check out the video below to see Rihanna trying on the looks and asking when she'll be able to send an order herself. Presumably she gets first dibs, but for the rest of us, the launch date to note is 12 September.
