Last night saw the first of the W Hotel's 'WHAT SHE SAID' - a series of talks to be held across W Hotels worldwide to inspire, educate and empower women - kicking off with a talk between CFDA Chairman and designer Mary Katrantzou, where they entertained an audience including the current CFDA incubator designers.
What sis we take away from this event? Four brilliant life lessons from fashion legend DvF:
1. "My mission is to give women more confidence."
2. "I found my independence and my confidence and my freedom through one little dress. I was selling that confidence to other women."
3. "For me, it's important that it's super comfortable. Effortless. I think to be effortless is more seductive. "
4. "I'm a survivor. My mother was a survivor and therefore I was born with that umph. I'll find something positive in everything."
