If, like us, you harbour a fairly fierce Zara addiction, this news will be music to your ears.

The high street giant is currently trialling self-service checkouts in some of its Spanish stores, just like the ones we use at supermarkets.

This means our Zara shopping experience - a high proportion of which is currently spent queueing at a till - could became significantly speedier.

Refinery29 was given an access-all-areas to the brand's HQ in Coruña, Spain and this tech addition was just one of the things they've got up their sleeves.

Others included touch-screens in dressing rooms that allow you request a different size without having to leave the cubicle. Genius.

Where Zara goes its competitors follow, so expect to see self-service checkouts all over the high street in the coming years.
