Acting as the launchpad for new talent, The British Fashion Council and sponsors Topshop today announced the continuation of their NEWGEN support for eight emerging designers who will all get to showcase their collections at this Autumn's London Fashion Week (16-20th September).

Ashley Williams, Ryan Lo and Molly Goddard will all host catwalk shows, while Danielle Romerill, Faustine Steinmetz, Marta Jakubowski, Sadie Williams and first-time recipient womenswear designer Paula Knorr, a graduate for the Royal Academy of Art,  will all present their collections at the same venue as last year, Brewer Street Car Park.

Being part of NEWGEN is a great opportunity for emerging designers to really showcase their work to an international audience of press and buyers, and they will be following in the footsteps of some of ELLE's favourite designers such as Alexander McQueen, Christopher Kane, Erdem, J.WAnderson,  Roksanda Ilinic and Simone Rocha, who all benefited from being propelled into the spotlight in their early years through the same support.

If you like to keep up with the next generation of British fashion talent, then check back here for full coverage of the shows in September.  We're excited to see how this young talent will develop next season.
