Chances are, you've seen Vivetta Ponti's pieces: the manicured hands embroidered around the collars of crisp white shirts on Alexa Chung for example, or the quirky cardigans and dresses with the appliqué lips, swans and other cute icons on Charlotte Dellal, Chiara Ferragni and Anna Dello Russo.

Vivetta's designs, which have superseded just must-have collars, her collection is opulent without being ostentatious,doll-like and yet still grown up. It's not just well-tailored and considered pieces, it's an enchanted wardrobe with unique detailing: the face of a woman as a shirt collar, swans gazing at each other across lapels, a small insight into the charming workings of Vivetta Ponti. Who from a young age has used clothes and her designs as a form of expression, 'I was very shy, and I wasn't able to express myself so I wanted to created something in which to convey all my passions, worries and thoughts. I started drawing my first sketches with my mum's lipsticks and tea-bags as water colorus.'

This season Vivetta has embraced the Gucci effect of more is more: crushed velvet suiting in Aegean blue embroidered with the finest forest offerings; frilled dressing gown coats layered over baby doll dresses, puffy marshmallow tulle all capped off with a side of beret. Vivetta's girl is embracing her inner geek, letting her imagination pour out onto her clothes and rejoicing in a celebration of her individualism.
