Scripted by Gesha-Marie Bland, the film will be produced by Maven Pictures, also known for Irvin Welsh's adaptation of Filth. The cast has yet to be announced.

Blow, the aristocratic fashion director who held positions at Tatler and The Sunday Times Style magazine, is credited for the discovery of many of fashion's most talented figures.

Besides her most famous discovery of McQueen, she is also credited with discovering the likes of Philip Treacy, Sophie Dahl and Stella Tennant.

McQueen continues to be an influential force in the fashion world even after his death by suicide in 2010, with the blockbuster exhibition at the V&A in 2015 Savage Beauty being a talking point in the fashion calendar that year.
