London Fashion Week.

A time for fashion's elite to attend designer catwalk shows, A-list celebrity parties, pose for #StreetStyle paparazzi and bag a FROW seat next to the likes of Cara Delevingne, Sienna Miller and Willow Smith.

But, for those who are yet to receive their golden ticket to the fashion gates of heaven (otherwise known as the Burberry show), London Fashion Week involves hour-long delays for Uber journeys, cancelled dinner reservations at the most popular restaurants in town and a lot of #fwis Instagram shots.

Like, a lot.

However, what if we told you there was a way of experiencing London Fashion Week without having to sprint your way through security, bribe a bouncer or watch the shows by balancing on one leg and peeping through a gap of guests' heads on the fourth row?

We've rounded up 11 ways to experience the capital's most talked about event season:

Get tips from Christian Dior's makeup artist

View the Burberry collection immediately after the show

Imagine if you could buy the clothes on the catwalk immediately after the show? Well, now you can thanks to Burberry latest collaboration with the New Craftsman in Soho where they're giving the public a chance to witness craft makers create pieces taken straight from the runway.

Watch the shows via live stream

Thanks to The British Fashion Council, you can watch several catwalk shows a day in real time such as those from Christopher Kane, J.W. Anderson, Gareth Pugh, Mulberry, Mary Katrantzou and Erdem.

Network to the top

'It's not what you know, it's who you know,' is a common phrase relating to the labrynth-like path many fashion editors have used to get to the top of their professions (that, and a lot of hard graft, endless jet lag and lost hours in the fashion cupboard).

Fortunately, fashion talent brand Mastered and Felicities PR are combining forces to launch a drop-in networking event with a chance to meet designers and members of the Mastered team and learn how to get a career in the fashion industry.

Watch the highlights outdoors

Nights watching Dirty Dancing on outdoor cinema screens might be over but the BFC will be streaming LFW highlights nationwide on outdoor screens in locations such as Liverpool, Manchester and Leeds. Pass us the popcorn.

Experience LFW at the Saatchi Gallery

Art meets fashion at the Saatchi Gallery this year where designer brands such as Sibling and Preen by Thornton Bregazzi will be showcasing their AW16 collections.

Talks will also be held at the gallery from designer Sophia Webster, creative director of Agent Provocateur Sarah Shotton and Sibling design partners Jeffrey and Deborah Fisher, as well as a pop-up shop selling 150 brands at discounted prices from ready-to-wear collections.

Watch the catwalk shows from Carnaby Street

If you're in need of some relief after a day's shopping, head over to Carnaby Street where they'll be streaming shows such as those from Burberry, Topshop Unique, Roksanda and Peter Pilotto on giant screens.

While you're there, head to a braid bar and attend a makeup masterclass by Illamasqua.

Embellish with piercings

Last month, fine jewellery designer Maria Tash set up a permanent piercing residence in Libertys, offering customers expert piercing, style topes an gem-set jewelleries. A big trend from New York Fashion Week was big earrings from the likes of Delpozo and Altuzarra so get yourself down to Libertys for some serious ear adornment.

Tip: Places will be going fast so book in advance to secure an appointment.

Nab a last-minute beauty fix

Rushing from show to show in this heat is no fun, no matter how high your heels. So, get yourself down to W London's style hub to be pampered by a team of 'Finishing Touches' who will offer a range of hair styling, express manicures, fitness classes and more.

Admire the intricacy of fashion

Get up close and personal with Gray M.C.A's curated exhibition of vintage fashion illustrations from the likes of L'Officiel and Pierre Balmain.

Drink up at a fashion pit-stop

Every fashion insider needs their caffeine fix so mix among the fashion teams and get some styling inspiration at Brewer Streets Damson & Co. coffee shop, courtesy of jewellery and leather brand Fossil.
