Last week, a student from Texas called upon his fellow men to take back their hoodies by encouraging them to wear their girlfriends' clothes in retaliation.

Alongside selfies of him wearing his girlfriend's and sister's hoodies, 21-year-old Godswil Muofhe wrote the caption: 'Ladies, we've had enough. You can't just take our hoodies this year without giving them back. This year we are fighting back. #TakeHerHoodie'

While Muofe might have intended the #TakeHerHoodie hashtag to be a joke, it's gained traction across the world, producing a movement among men who want to take back what's rightfully theirs.

Hell hath no fury like a man in a pink hoodie.
