WAH Nails' collaboration with ASOS has just dropped, and we're o-b-s-e-s-s-e-d.
Not content with resting on her laurels, Sharmadean Reid, the owner and founder of WAH Nails, and epitome of the self-made woman, has gone back to her roots as a stylist and launched a range for ASOS, inspired by the 'really fly' Princess Diana.
The collab, which features a tartan-covered iPhone case, a pearl choker, a chunky gold 'Princess' bracelet, a baseball cap with a bow at the back and a purple cashmere sweater with the word 'Royal' emblazoned on the front (a personal favourite), is a delightful mishmash of Sloaney West London style and urban Dalston streetwear.
Asked about her inspiration for the collection, Reid said 'I had just moved to West London and I felt like a real West London mum, like "ah I feel a bit like Princess Diana, dropping the kids off to school" and I thought: that's a good idea for a collection, an East London girl moving to West London.'
Expect to see pearls and tartan on the Dalston strip very soon.
