It's safe to say Angelina Jolie will be high up on Cara Delevingne's Christmas card list this year.
To celebrate International Day of the Girl and the UN's Girl Up campaign this week, the 24-year-old model-turned-actress took the opportunity to praise her role model, Angelina Jolie, who has inspired her to fulfill her dream of acting and directing and has continued to use her celebrity status for good as a goodwill ambassador for the UN.
In a post to Instagram, the Suicide Squad actress posted a picture of Jolie with the caption: 'My admiration for Angelina Jolie is endless. I also admire anyone who transforms their pain into power. I admire unruly activists. I admire her continued involvement with the UN as a goodwill ambassador.
She is ruthless, determined, and unforgiving in her efforts to make a difference for refugees. She also inspired me to follow my dreams into acting and have higher goals of one day becoming a director. I have chosen her as my #GirlHero today!'
A celebration of womanhood – that's what we like to see.
