is set to be the subject of a retrospective at London’s Design Museum later this year.

‘Hello, My Name is Paul Smith’ will open its doors on 15 November. And it’s not just a tribute to the very British designer – the man himself has also helped to curate it.

The exhibition sounds like it will be incredible. It will chart Paul Smith’s history, from his modest first store in Nottingham to the international fashion brand that he heads up now, plus his love of everything from bicycles (he dreamed of being a professional cyclist, don’t you know) to traditional tailoring.

As well as showing off highlights from his past collections, the museum will recreate Paul’s office, complete with the eclectic mix of books and objects that inspire him, and the original Paul Smith store. And you’ll be able to hear recording’s of Paul’s thoughts and views too.

And if a visit to the exhibition doesn’t satiate your love for all things Paul Smith, a coffee table book will also be released by Rizzoli to coincide with the opening.
