Our love for Reformation has been unrequited for quite some time. Since it's launch in 2009, the LA-based label has been available exclusively in the US and, unless we were willing to fork out ££££ on shipping and customs, it's on-trend pieces have been frustratingly out of our reach.
But no more! Come Friday, November 11th Net-A-Porter will play host to the sustainable label with an exclusive capsule collection, making it available in the UK for the first time. It's literally like Christmas has come early.
The 21-piece collection is full of party essentials and includes 11 brand new designs as well as three signature pieces beloved by Reformation followers, available in eco fabrics including velvet, rib, georgette and silk.
'We are huge fans of Reformation and in particular, their cool contemporary eveningwear offering. We are so thrilled to have worked with them on this exclusive collection filled with effortless party pieces that we know our customers will go mad for,' said Sarah Rutson, Vice President of Global Buying at Net-A-Porter.
Reformation was initially a side project for founder Yael Aflalo, a way for her to explore making clothes with as little waste as possible, a part of the industry she had become frustrated with. All Reformation pieces are made using sustainable materials, and most are produced in the US. Those that aren't are done so abroad using sustainable methods.
Here's hoping Net and Reformation turn into long-time companions.
