Three was the magic number for s Jack McCollough and Lazaro Hernandez at last nights Council Of Fashion Designers of America (CFDA) Awards as they scooped the coveted Womenswear Designer of the Year award for the third time.

And, indeed, the Hollywood contingent was out in force to join the celebrations, held at New York's Lincoln Center: Kerry Washington handed over the statuette to the Proenza boys, while Jessica Chastain, Hailee Steinfeld, Douglas Booth and a Calvin Klein Collection-clad Rooney Mara joined her on presenting duty.

Elsewhere, Hillary Rodham Clinton presented the Eleanor Lambert Founders Award to , Vera Wang accepted the Geoffrey Beene Lifetime Achievement Award and triumphed over and Proenza Schouler in the hotly contested Accessory Designer Of The Year category.
