There’s nothing quite like being in the business of discovering the next big fashion talent – and, as part of next week’s Graduate Fashion Week celebrations, ELLE will be right at the heart of doing just that.
Taking place at London’s Earl’s Court 2 from 2-5 June, Graduate Fashion Week 2013, under the sponsorship of George at Asda, is set to be bigger than ever before. This year, an unprecedented 40 of the finest of the UK’s fashion education establishments are participating – not to mention, for the first time, a whole host of the most important fashion institutions from around the world, from New York’s Parsons to BUNKA Japan.
For the second year running, ELLE will be in the thick of it. Come visit our pop-up shop, which we’ll be hosting during the final two days of the event, to pick up a piece from two up-and-coming ethical labels we’re very excited about: Pray For Paris, which hand-prints its distinctive luxury Ts in Britain, and Termite, whose wood-framed eyewear is set to be the next big thing when it comes to sunglasses.
And don’t forget to pick up your copy of ELLE while you’re at it; we’ll be selling our smash-hit Miley Cyrus June issue at a very special show price of £1.
It’s a well-known fact that GFW determines the future stars of the fashion world: Stella McCartney, Christopher Bailey and Preen’s Justin Thornton all burst onto the fashion scene via its catwalks. See you at the cutting edge.
