Can we just take a moment to marvel at the set of Dior's latest Haute Couture show?
This is the first Dior Couture show under the directorship of Maria Grazia Chiuri, the former co-Creative Director of Valentino who took the helm of the storied French fashion house last year following Raf Simons' departure. And, boy, she did not disappoint.
Isn't it beyond amazing? Held at Paris' Musee Rodin, it was a magical forest complete with its very own exquisite wishing tree and mirrored sky.
Guests sat on velvet cushions embroidered with a golden bee atop faux hedgerows...
And there was a maze. A MAZE...
Thankfully, the clothes were just as beautiful.
There were dresses so delicate they looked as though they'd been spun from unicorn tears...
A lot of the details were inspired by horoscopes...
Beautiful floral headdresses that framed the face...
And feathers...
Tiny delicate stars around the eyes...
Numerous excellent Little Red Riding Hood references...
The chicest masks of all time...
And this soldier boy military suit...
Oh, and music by Daft Punk, of course...
