Earlier this week, the CFDA announced its "Fashion Stands With Planned Parenthood" initiative for New York Fashion Week and already, more designers are chiming in to voice their support for the organization.

Altuzarra joined in on the NYFW efforts to support Planned Parenthood by auctioning off tickets to its Spring 2017 runway show to raise money for the organization. The fashion brand shared the news on Instagram writing, "We stand with Planned Parenthood: Announcing a special silent auction of two runway tickets to our upcoming NYFW Fall Winter 2017 Runway Show on Sunday, February 12, with all proceeds donated to @plannedparenthood @ppact."

While Altuzarra is the first fashion brand to auction show tickets benefitting of Planned Parenthood this season, over 40 American designers—including Diane von Furstenberg, Carolina Herrera, Kate Spade and more—have already committed to taking part in the CFDA's #FashionStandsWithPP initiative during Fashion Week.

It looks like the industry will continue to stand firmly united in its efforts to support Planned Parenthood as the non-profit organization faces danger of losing government funding under the Trump administration.
