The US heavyweight designer will show his Resort collection on the catwalk for the first time this year, in a show to be held at his 888 Madison Avenue flagship store on 6 June.
Having previously presented the collection privately or, some years, not at all, its a notable move for the label, highlighting the increasing significance of the season. Over the past couple of weeks both Dior and Chanel have hit the headlines with their equivalent collections and, although Lauren is declining to jet his faithful off to exotic climes, we remain eager to see what a Resort catwalk looks like, Ralph-style.
