The chances are that when you're plotting your wardrobe for the Big Chill or Burning Man, Topshop is already riding high on your list of go-to stores. But this summer the high street brand is launching a music and fashion project dedicated to all things festival that's set to make packing your rucksack even easier.

First up there is, of course, the collection itself, which includes a 16 piece capsule collection inspired by Kate Bosworth. You may recognise some of it already - the actress sported some of its highlights at Coachella last month.

'Kate and I were discussing the summer trends and how she had been one of our inspirations,' reveals Topshop creative director Kate Phelan. 'She was here working with us on our Christmas project - the next day Kate came in with all these incredible images and references and shared what her ultimate festival outfits looked like. It is an organic extension of Kate’s fashion sense aligned with the Topshop brand. We think that’s fresh and exciting.'

Director - and Kate Bosworth's fiancé - Michael Polish has also been roped into the project. He has created a short film to launch the capsule collection, shot as the couple made their way to Coachella.

Topshop will also be hosting gigs by emerging and established artists in different locations around the world, with tickets given away to customers. And rumour has it that there's also a music partnership in the works, although the details are currently under wraps. But while you're waiting for all to be revealed, take a look at the 'Festival' film below...
