Fresh from curating the British Designers’ Collective store at Bicester Village, Yasmin Sewell has turned her attention to another pop-up store – but this time it’s all hers.

The fashion consultant and style setter, together with Paper Mache Tiger, will open Beach in the East in Shoreditch on 18 May, a 1970s California-inspired space complete with empty swimming pool.

The store will play host to labels and pieces handpicked by Sewell, all with a skater, Lords of Dogtown vibe. , Cècile, , Sophia Webster and more have designed pieces exclusively for the project, and Prism, Lisa Marie Fernandez and Sheriff and Cherry will also be stocked.

It’s shaping up to be a pretty cool place to hang out - London-based graffiti artist Word to the Mother will be spray painting the space, while DJ Itchy Rich takes charge of the soundtrack. And if you can’t make it down you can still reap the benefits of Yasmin’s sartorial choices – the pieces will all be available at farfetch.com later in the month.

Beach in the East will be open from 18 May – 24 August at Lower Ground G,123 Clifton St, EC2A 4LD
