According to resale website thredUP, used Crocs are one of the hottest items of the season, selling faster than ~trendier~ brands like FreePeople and Anthropologie.

ThredUP's data insists that Crocs fly off the shelves 58 percent faster than any other product listed on the site. Plus, nearly all (97 percent) of the rubbery footwear is bought within three months of being posted. The average cost of resale for the shoe is $11.

Given that Crocs made their first appearance on the Fashion Week runways in September 2016, it's not entirely surprising that they'd have a retail resurgence. Nevertheless, the sheer demand for these used items, which only cost $35 to begin with, is somewhat puzzling to thredUP's head of marketing communications, Karen Clark. "We were surprised to see Crocs so high on [the] list," she told Yahoo Style. "For brands with that high a sell-through rate, it's almost impossible to find them on the site."

Moral of the story: Get in on this sweet, sweet Crocs cash ASAP if you have some old ones lying around. Or, you know, keep them because you are way ahead of the curve.
