'A star is someone who doesnt have to take her clothes off to be sexy because you naturally have star power,' she told ELLE writer Janice Turner. 'Sex does sell, but you have to find a way thats not just showing your tits. I dont want to be a glorified model. They just walk on stage and its all about their clothes or lack of clothes.'
So for us, meeting Miley was very much to do having her bring her own persona to some of the season's most iconic pieces - those by the likes of , , and . She rocks 10 pages of them - shot by Jan Welters - in our new issue, out 1 May.
