The Weeknd (Abel Tesfaye), has collaborated with Puma on a new line of apparel and sneakers, set to hit stores this autumn. Debuting first from the collection will be the "Parallel" hightop sneaker, which Tesfaye unveiled in a new series of photos and Instagrams.

The first sneakers will retail for £168 ($220) and come in all-white and olive green color schemes. For the singer, it was important to make a shoe that was not only accessible to the masses, but that also included his sense of style. "I was involved in almost every aspect, but I was most focused on the silhouette," he explained to Footwear News. "With XO and Puma, we really collaborated and worked on making the best product possible."

The shoes will come first, but "his street-style-focused T-shirts, denim jackets and pants will launch shortly after," Footwear News revealed.

Late last month, the Weeknd started promoting the upcoming sneaker release on his Instagram captioning, "PUMAXO || PARALLELS || 8.24," on a multitude of photos:
